"Smart" (and it's later version SmartWare II) were products developed by Innovative Software, Inc. It ran on MS-DOS and a limited number of Unix platforms, and consisted of an integrated DBMS, spreadsheet, word processor and communications module, all linked by a main menu. Smart continued to be marketed by Informix for a short while after the merger. Currently Smart is supported and marketed by CS Computing Services, Inc. of Toronto, Canada. (the press release announced that CSC was renaming itself to ANGOSS Software Corp in February.)
