Re: INFORMIX WISH LIST

In article <33A40BB0.25FAE613@mindspring.com>, tschaefe@mindspring.com says... >My wish list: [suggestions clipped] On my wish list would be enhancements to ESQL/C (probably also similar enhancements to New Era, 4GL, etc.) - like not being forced to use that locator structure for non-binary text fields. Shoot, not having to use it even for binary fields - be able to do something sensible and return a status. It's certainly okay by me to keep it for times when you need it, or for those who are masochistic. Oh, yeah - documentation, documentation, documentation. In all areas. I do admire the effort to put documentation on CD-ROM, but just putting the manuals on CD-ROM doesn't improve their quality. :-( -- William Harris william@carsinfo.com
