Dynamic 4GL on Linux, icon crash on fglX11d
Posted in 1999
Hi there, I am using Linux RH5.2 with D4GL 2.01.UC1. A graphical statement that throws out any of the 4 standard icons "info", "stop", "exclamation", "question" will result in fglX11d crashing. For example main call fgl_init4js() call fgl_winmessage("Title","Message","info") end main When run, produce the following error messages: X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range of operation) Major op code of failed request: 53 (X_CreatePixmap) Value in failed request: 0x8 Serial number of failed request: 859 Current serial number in output stream: 866 Communications between daemon and interface manager has broken down. [1]+ Exit 1 fglX11d However, if an incorrect icon name is used in statement such as: call fgl_winmessage("Title","Message","Info") then I can avoid the crash but with no icon. Running the daemon on Windows 95 (fglserver) does not cause any problem. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks Brian Tan
