ISPY and Defuncted processes

Hi, I am running ISPY version 2.00 UC4 on IDS9.30.UC4, OS is AIX 4.3.3. We are fronting out database servers with load servers, to keep users off the acturaly db server. I am encountering a problem in that child ISPY processes are dying an unnatural death, leaving defuncted process on the server. These processes are accumulation and causing my server to hit the user process limit set in the OS. I have been trying to trace the defuncted process id's back to a user/process to see if I can find out if there is a particular type of connection/disconnect that is leaving these processes out there. The process id in the ispy_session table is a process on the load server. The defuncted processes are on dbserver(which is where the ISPY process is running). Has anyone else had this problem? If so is there a solution? Thanks Bob Boardley
