Cursor Problem

Hi, Environment : ODS 7.22uc2 ERP : PeopleSoft 6.01 We have 2 databases in one Informix server. There is an application written in SQR. Which uses a cursor and reads one row, change some of the values and adds a new row with those new values in the same table. This works well in one database and fails in other though everything is same for the table. ( Even data ) The select cursor is reading the rows which are being inserted. And that's causing a problem.
