Q: Parallel index builds via IECC

We are currently able to build indices in parallel via dbaccess(?) and it is very fast. However, when we do the same thing via IECC, it takes on average 4x the time to do the same job. How can we invoke the environmental parameters (we use when we're using the CLI) under the IECC?
