Avoiding Duplicate Entries/DataCleanser Datablade

I was wondering if anyone had any information on any utilities or 3rd party packages that would help prevent duplicate entries into the database. I have been reading up on the DataCleanser DataBlade, and it seems to do be what we are looking for except that we want to be able to warn a user that they are about to create a duplicate entry (mainly customer names/addresses), and not just run a process to clean them up later. We are currently running Dynamic Server 7.2, but would consider upgrading to Universal Server if this datablade would accomplish our goals. I know that there are some windows utilities, but for performance reasons, we were hoping to find a product that would run on our database server machine (RS6000). TIA
