BTW I/d suggest putting those informix device links in another filesystem rather than /dev. If the sysadmin decides to reorg things poof! Change /dev/informix1->/dev/rre1h to ~informix/disks/informix1->/dev/rre1h but that is just a suggestion from experience. Art S. Kagel Art S. Kagel
