Hi all!
I have IDS 7.31 on WIN2K box. One day I've done dbexport of one of my database. The next day I
needed to dbimport it, some time it was procceding, but at one moment it was interrupted and IDS said the following:
*** put loadcur
1213 - Character to numeric conversion error
735291 - Cannot open file 'tptkenc.iem'.
What does that mean??
Then I've done an an experiment, I made the 0-level backup and made dbexport, then I've restored it
on my test server with no problems, then I've drop the database and tried to dbimport it, but got
the same error. So the restore is working, but dbimport - no. What should I do? I have no 0-level
backup on that moment. How can I find the error in *.unl file?
Thank you.

First question: Did anything import, or did it fail on the first
table?
I think I'd start looking at the delimiters in the .unl file. There
might be a "|" as part of the actual text, which could through off the
delimit and cause dbimport to think it's importing a number when it's
actually tricked into looking at text.
One place to start would be the table that the import fails on.
Work around.
1. Create the structure using the xxxx.sql file created by the
dbexport.
2. While this might be time-consumming, manually use dbaccess and
"load from..." to import the tables.
3. With the failing table you may need to edit the .UNL file and
remove the false delimiters.
