I had one some time ago, could get absolutely nowhere and eventually re-worked the entire function that it was in. The problem went away. By that time I had even simplified the INSERT statement down to it's very simplest form to no avail. You don't say how complex the INSERT statement is. Mine started off as INSERT INTO table (25 column names) VALUES (25 values). When I finished it was down to INSERT INTO TABLE (6 mandatory columns) VALUES (6 values).
