Whenever one posts a technical question to c.d.i, (s)he is expecting someone to waist their time for the poster's benefit. So it is a kind of give and take ( in some cases people may be replying to keep-up their technical image, which is what they get in return ). A technical question can also be annoying if the poster ask again and again for every bit and piece of the syntax. I think job postings are also the same. If someone starts to abuse c.d.i, by making multiple postings of same subject then (s)he becomes a nuisance. So we must cooperate and keep this news group in good shape. We must be open-minded not selfish, saying that some particular topic is not of any interest to me, so people should not make such postings. Common this is a game of give and take, so take it easy, after all we al belong to the same family (c.d.Informix) in the cyber-space. -- Have a nice day Felix K.
