We wish to access it through from a Visual Basic application running under Windows3.0 on a PC with Ethernet access. As with Dave, we were previously using the Wingz/Datalink solution but Visual Basic looks like a better front end environment for developing and running the application (the application is more graphics oriented then spreadsheet). If anyone can point me in the right direction, or even give a few clues to applications which can handle the connection/query/update with Informix then please reply by email or via. the newsgroup. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jeff Howard, Dept. of Computer Science, Programmer.
