Informix Books

To Informix DBA-wannabes: If you're looking for a good intro book on what it takes to be an Informix DBA, Joe Lumbley's book seems to do a good job. As I've heard from others, it can be hard to get. My bookstore's distributor couldn't order anymore so I had to order from Prentice Hall. Take my advice, if your bookstore has it, get it..it'll save you some money. I've read a little less than half, and it's pretty good so far. What I've read in the manuals seems to make more sense now. Anyone else like to comment? Speaking of books, has anyone looked over the Advanced Informix 4GL book by Art Taylor? Any comments? Evita Chapa erc@antares-dev.com
