More processors is better for DSS style queries, faster CPUs for OLTP type queries and for larger databases. However, getting the most total cycles can rarely hurt so it's either 14*90 or 1260MHZ versus 10*166 or 1660MHZ a gain of 24%, nothing to sneeze at! Art S. Kagel
