I gather this would be a faster ->way to insert data into Online than having a solution as (1). -> ->Thanks in advance for your effort to answer these questions. -> ->Cheers, ->Cynthia Leong If your ASCII data is in fixed width columns, which is typical of output from excel, lotus, etc., you might find it easier to use the Informix utility DBLOAD and bypass Hyperscript completely.
