Was OnLine installed correctly? Check the permissions on oninit, they
should be as follows:
-rwsr-sr-- 1 root informix 6143572 Aug 4 15:13 bin/oninit
Check that /INFORMIXTMP doesn't already exist, it should have
permissions as follows:
drwxrwxrwt 2 root informix 1024 Sep 11 15:03 /INFORMIXTMP
Failing that, don't use stream pipes. :-)
