Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Is it possible to make vi the default editor in dbaccess? Or do I need
to select "Use-editor" option each time?

You can set the environment variable DBEDIT=vi (or DBEDIT=emacs for
that matter) and Use-editor will not prompt for an editor even the
first time in a session. However, the New and Modify options will
still use the dbaccess editor.
