:-) :-) Hi all. :-) :-) For starters, let me apologize for my level of english. :-) :-) I don't understand why Informix Co. don't solve about 2000+ year entry :-) with "MM/DD/YY" FORMAT. :-) :-) I work in a software company and have a lot of 4GL programes and if we :-) change the format to "MM/DD/YYY" can be very hard and a inconvenience :-) entry for our customers. :-) :-) What about $DBCENTURY ?. :-) :-) We've got SE engines Releases S.XX; What release will solve this :-) problem. ? :-) :-) :-) :-) Any help will be appreciated. :-) :-) M.Falc'. :-) :-) :-) Hi Senor Falco, Try searching previous posts to this newsgroup (you can do this from the IIUG web site (http://www.iiug.org)). There was a thread recently that said something like a future release of Informix will contain an environment variable called "DBCENTURY". I think it's 7.12, but I can't be sure. Someone posted a useful table showing the effects of the variable depending on whether it was set to closest century, last century or whatever. Hope this helps, Richard.
