the CD documentation.
We have it.
It needs work.
It looks wonderful. When they tell you it is the manuals on CD, they
aren't kidding. The problem is it basically page images, not live text.
When you open it you see the image of the page (headers, footers, and page
numbers). When you page down, you waste time going past the white space
at the top and bottom of every page. If you expand the window to
cover the whole screen and then zoom out sufficiently to view an entire
page at once ( so paging seems more logical) you can't read it.
I would have preferred something like a help file. Size the window and
the text wraps accordingly. At least you can search the text...
At least it's a start in the right direction. I just wish they
had included 4gl docs in the beta. My release is 7 doc set (Online, SE
esql(I think), and dbaccess with SQL reference
