First of all thank you to all those who replied to my post on "set explain". I WAS using "update statistics", but the queries were on the wrong database. Testing on the live (where "update" is run every night) proved much more productive. Yet another question now. This one is on behalf of a colleague of mine. He is setting up a new machine and somehow has managed to load two seemingly different versions of 4gl. r4gl says that it is version 4.10.XYZ (don't have the version numbers with me), while fglgo says it is version 4.10.ABC. The question is: which one is actually i effect when programs are run or compiled? Thank you Wayne |Wayne Harlech-Jones |Windhoek, Namibia, Southern Africa |wayne@jones.mac.alt.na
