Peoples Informix under Linux experiences?

Hi, I'm looking for peoples experiences with Informix under Linux. I just started a position where I'll be using Informix in a turnkey environment under SCO UNIX, but there is a need for cost control for the product. One of the things my boss was looking at was using Linux for the underlying UNIX instead of SCO. I'm also interested from a home computer standpoint. I use Linux at home and have been looking for a good 4GL database for it. What versions of Linux and Informix are you using? What sort of things did you find that are different from normal? What administration issues are you finding different under Linux? I did see the thread on asking wether Informix and Linux were compatible. I'm currently using Slackware 3.0.0 ELF with a 1.2.13 kernel build.
