You have 2 modes that you can use: list or table. In either mode you can use enabled filtered, and disabled. If you use enabled, the load will fail after the first violation and the results will be in the <tabname>_vio table with diagnostic information in the '_dia' table. If you use filtered, then the engine will continue, placing all the rows that violated the constraints in the violations table. If you use disabled, you can load the rows, including those that violate the constraints. I believe even after you do a load with set constraints disabled, if you start violations that the offending rows will be moved to the violations table. You can further control it if you are using table mode vs. list mode with the modes immediate and deferred. Bryan Hughes Engineer Healtheon Corp.
