Feeding data from Foxpro to Informix

Hi, Can anyone suggest the best and simplest way to export and then import the data from Foxpro for DOS 2.4 to Informix 5.04? The method we are using is: Foxpro: - export the data to an ASCII file, e.g. "ABC", 12.3, 45, 31121998 FTP the file from DOS to Unix Informix: - load the data by a 4GL program i) Remove the double-quotes in the ASCII file ii) load the ASCII file to a temp. table with delimiter "," iii) Check each record, if success, load to the target table. iv) If fail, export to an exceptional file.
