Hi all, Its a kind of weird question. I have a scenario where I need to store a bunch of max numbers which is the output of a sql (this is done inside a function). I was using a table <temp_numbers> to do this. Later I switched it to use a SET <SET1> to store the same numbers. Both temp_table and SET1 uses equal numbers of deletes and inserts to store the numbers. So which is more efficient, using a temporary table or using SET concept. Thanks in advance PS : set is declared inside the function as 'define SET1 SET(integer not null')'. -- Anil Menon MIS Team. I'll try till I die or die trying.
