Stored Procedures in INFORMIX: Why cant I do a DECLARE CURSOR !!!!

Using INFORMIX and trying to do a DECLARE CURSOR in a stored procedure. I keep getting syntax errors 201. I found a work around using the foreach SPL structure. Question: IS DECLARE CURSOR supported in Stored Procedures, and if so can you please give a little bit of code that WORKS for you. Thanks, Please respond to: root@TeamInfinity.com
