I ultimately had to do a restart to recover all of the space in rootdbs. Upon recovery Informix dropped 163 temp table tbspaces ranging in size from 8 to 8205 pages. Also, even with Informix completely offline, I still had 20+ sqlturbos lying around which I had to blow off with kill -9. I presume these two factors are related. So is there any improvement in 7.1 that enables me to track down owners of temp table space so I can get rid of them? Ken Miles kenm@vcd.hp.com
