INFORMIX-Client SDK

Hi ! I saw the following description of a client SDK on the Informix web site. What interests me most is the C++ interface that they talk about. Has anyone out there used this product ? Is it any good ? What improvements to the CLI interface are they talking about ? The collection features a Java interface with JDBC and RMI support, as well as a C++ interface. Also included among these APIs are an ODBC 3.0 compliant driver from Intersolv and enhanced versions of the popular INFORMIX-CLI and INFORMIX-ESQL/C products. Client SDK enables customers to shorten their development time, increase code reuse, and reduce the training needed for in-house development teams. With Client SDK, customers can quickly and easily add advanced functionality without affecting existing business processing.
