Remote connection can bring down Informix server?

Hi, My Informix version is 7.31.uc4. OS is Solaris 2.6. I just found that it would bring down the local Informix server if the remote connection failed. What happened is, if I didn't set up '.rhosts' file in the remote host, anyone who did 'select * from remotedatabase@remoteserver:tablename' in the locale server would cause 908 error, and then the local server would dump af file and share memory, and the local server would go down. I think it must be a bug. Does anyone know something about the bug? Which version will fix the bug? Thanks in advance. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/
