Faulty BEGIN COMMIT on Informix 4.1

I've had problems with this after converting a site from SE - ON Line We had the engine crash a number of times and it seems that the reason was one of two 1. A race condition where the system does not work fast enough to process the data at the speed it is input Linked with 2. The memory not being allocated atomically The answer after getting very senior people from Informix involved was a bug in the Informix Code They produced a new cut and the situation was resolved Hope this helps -- Terry Boyland
