Running 4gl over other database

Hi all, and thank's for any idea Somebody know a way to run 4gl aplications (developed in 4.20.UC1 on Unix) over others databases like mysql or postgres on linux systems? Or a migration tools from 4gl to other portable language (and database independence?)
