You can be in online mode and use onmonitor (Logical-Logs, Databases)
selection to change a database from Buffered to UnBuffered mode and
vice versa. To change a database from no logging to logging, you would
typically set your TAPEDEV configuration parameter to /dev/null and run
ontape.
EX: ontape -s -U xxx to change database xxx from no logging to
unbuffered logging.
