DBACCESS and Stored-Procedure
Posted in 1999
Hello !
We have a problem with headlines from a stored procedure in DBACCESS.
For example:
with the statement
SELECT name, age alter
FROM person
WHERE emp_no < 20;
we have this headline: 'name' 'alter'.
with the stored procedure
CREATE PROCEDURE test(num INTEGER)
RETURNING CHAR(30), INTEGER;DEFINE n CHAR(30);
DEFINE d INTEGER;
FOREACH
SELECT name, age
INTO n, d
FROM person
WHERE emp_no < num
RETURN n, d WITH RESUME;END FOREACH;
END PROCEDURE;
we have always this headline: '(expression)' '(expression)'
Is it possible to choose the headline, like in the first
Select-statement with a stored procedure ?
We tried a RETURN 'name', 'alter' WITH RESUME at the beginning of the
stored procedure, but we have to change the returning datatype from
integer to char (it is not always possible because we use the same
procedure in another programm) ... and we have always
'(expression)' '(expression)' at the top of output !
Any Help welcome, Thanks
