As a service to this list, allow me to decode this.... >Palladian Consulting, Inc. is a technical consulting company specializing in >RDBMS technical support services and we are currently looking for experienced >consultants in Sybase, Informix and DB2 technologies. >Why choose Palladian Consulting? We don't know either. We're hoping you think up your own reason before the end of this email. >We provide personalized service to our clients at cost effective prices. We're more concerned with kowtowing to our clients than paying you well. That's why we mentioned their needs first before we considered your need to eat. See next item... >We provide our consultants with multiple career options and act quickly and >professionally. Oh, yeah, we consider what our consultants want. We will move you from job to job so you won't be as likely to be hired directly by the client if you're good and so you can't damage our reputation if you're a real loser. On the other hand, we'll "act quickly" at your first screw up so we don't lose the client and boot you out on the street. >We have confidence in the quality relations we have with our clients and our >consultants. We have written our contracts so well we've never been successfully sued. Yet, that is... >We have a variety of positions available throughout the United States. How's this for a position, bend over.... >While we continue to grow with added specialties in the new database >technologies, we remain committed to our Model 204 heritage. Our founder started out in Model 204 and now just wants to exploit other people rather than retrain. >We will continue to provide high quality and expert services to the RDBMS >community. >Palladian Consulting, Inc. >201 S. Lake Avenue, Suite 416 >Pasadena, CA 91101 Oh boy, free smog too! >Tel: 626-449-6162 >Fax: 626-449-5984 >E-mail: Palladian@worldnet.att.net >www.PalladianConsulting.com So does your present job look better now? Low quality job shops are trolling for inexperienced labor. The way to tell a lame body shop: >No description of applications, industry area, duties, responsibilities, budget, other project team members, hardware, OS, users, project history. >No mention of rates, expenses, living environment or what their own cut is. >Say "must start today!" >Insist on sending HTML or MSWord or obscure attachments. Palladian Consulting meets most of these loser parameters. -- --------------------------------------------------------- Steven Hauser email: hause011@tc.umn.edu URL: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~hause011 ---------------------------------------------------------
