The "problem" very likely is with Access. Access requires a unique index on any table you wish to update. Once you create the index, drop the attachment in Access and re-attach. At that point you shoould be abel to update. I have used OpenLink with Access & Informix. If you have unique indexes, inserts updates and deletes should all work fine.
