Interesting problem @!@#$

We are using Online 7.13 on HPUX10.10 with INFORMIX-4GL Version 6.01.UD2 Pcode Version 10 We are encountering a very interesting problem. A module in our application is running faster (much faster!) in fgldb than fglgo. We have checked everything (database setup, index, code, etc.). Did anyone out there experienced the same problem?
