What are the *good* end-user tools for Informix server?

To all experts in client/server application developers: We are in the process of selecting an end-user tool for Informix 5.0 online server. We evaluated PowerBuilder and Ilog ( cross platform GUI tool). Our appliations are basically for analysing network traffic. PowerBuilder does a job of providing nice reports and chart etc. I also heard that PowerBuilder fails in handling larger data. I am not sure about the truth. ILog tool provides general purpose c++ objects for end-user application developement. There is certainly lot of developement time involved. Does any body know any cross platform tool which is *efficient* for end-user application developement? I would appreciate if you could tell me the price also. Thanks in advance.
