Hello Jason,
You might contact Informix Support and reference case #413099. It seems
that the dbimport utility found in the early versions ODS 7.x for Windows NT
could NOT talk to the tape drive. Something about dbimport/dbexport being
compiled without the tape device driver for Windows NT...
Bottom line advice from Informix Tech Support was to ftp the database.exp
directory and files onto a local disk drive and dbimport from that, or
upgrade to latest version of ODS if you wanted dbimport to be able to read
data from a local tape drive (\\\\Tape0) on Windows NT.
If memory serves me correctly, I believe that I was finally was able to get
dbimport to work from tape in either ODS 7.22.TC1 or 7.23.TC1 on Windows NT
3.51 and 4.0...
