If that does not work, get articles published in the national press on how you are buying a large amount of software from the competition. Failing that you could always try the really cast-iron certain approach - ring INFORMIX and pretend to be working on a large military contract. These are the things that turn INFORMIX salespeople on. They aren't interested any longer in the small customer who only wants to buy simple development systems. They only want the large multi-national companies or government departments. I know, I asked about it in Tampa and that was basically their answer.
