session/connection last used time

IDS 11.50 FC7 on redhat 4 I'm investigating an issue we have with a db connection pool adding more connections and consuming shared memory resources. I think there is a problem with existing connections not being used/closed but new ones being added instead. I know from the syssessions table how to find out when a connection was opened but does anyone know how to tell when a connection was last used. If I know a connections last used time I can close these as a temporary measure until I find the root cause.
Hello. I think this link could help you.... http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21209482 Version 11.70 has already a function in sysadmin for this, called idle_user_timeout. Regards. Take a look at the onstat -g ntt command. This will show you went a session
was opened, the last time it read from the socket and the last time it wrote
to the socket.
Any sqlexec thread that hasn't read or written in a while is a candidate for
what you're looking for.
