Dear Sir. I have a question about "4GL", and hope you can help me. We have a database tale. Its record count =300000 The layout of table x is as following: ----------------- n integer, -- primary key f1 char(10), -- unique key f2 text fn .... -------------------- f1= Xnnnnnnnnn , X=>'A'..'Z' ,,n=1..0 when f1[2,9] repeats, such as "S123456789" or "L123456789", then "12345678" will be what I want. How should I write my SQL command? -- -- '̷R'p'' : <binary@ms1.hinet.net> --
Try :
Select unique ( f1[2,10] ) from x
