Thanks for the response. Despite a typo (my online1 was set correctly in
both locations, making Bo's onsoctcp change did get a connection with
setnet32. Now I have to get there through Powerbuilder, I'm getting a 25507
service name or protocol is unknown. I'll have to investigate this since my
only experience with Powerbuilder is loading the thing.

I keep getting the following error when trying to connect to my HP 755
w/HPUX 10.2 and Informix online 7.2
Database: sqlcode= -908
The error message book info is different in that I should get an error
Attempt to connect to database server(servername,

I have set the following:
on windows95 client

on my HPUX 10.2 server

in SetNet32
Server Info
Informix Server isa_online
Host Name myserver
Protocol Name olsoctcp - I have tried changing this at the test
login
prompt to
ontlitcp to match the
sqlhosts
file on HPUX (same
error)
Service Name online1
I can bet to my server via telnet informixserver ONLINE and use sql
forms
and reports thru HPUX generated menus without any problems. Geez Louise
