Assuming you are using HP-UX and the bundled C compiler, go to http://egcs.cygnus.com and download EGCS 1.1.2. Use your bundled C compiler to bootstrap the build. Thereafter, use EGCS (aka GCC) for all future compilations. The problem looks suspiciously like a C compiler which won't understand C prototypes, and the only one available as standard is the one on HP-UX. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
