Dropping Temp Tables

There have been a few messages posted here regarding the dropping of temp tables. We have many programs that drop temp tables and are currently using SE v5.1. We are about to convert to OnLine 7.1 and I'm wondering if dropping temp tables will cause us any headaches? Any responses are welcome... Thank you Dave
