Error -246
Hello members,
thats my first posting to this list.
Our customer called us via phone that he has have a crash on his HP-Vectra
(SCO 3.2.2, Informix-Online)
After bringing up the the System, one programm dosn't work properly.
Ok,we dial in via Modem and try to update a table:
update "tablexxx" .....
The errors:
246: Could not do an indexed read to get the next row
107: ISAM Error: record is locked
Hmmm,
we unload the table in a ascii file , and then
drop table tablexxx;
create table tablexxx{
......
The error:
-314: Table ist currently in use
so we had to shutdown the Online-System to fix. Is it possible to fix the
error without shuting down the system ?
