client connections for ODS 7.23.UC4

G'day folks, I am looking for information on how to set up a NT client connection to our ODS databases residing on a Solaris 2.5 machine. I know the basics on the server.....sqlhosts, /etc/hosts, /etc/services and configure the protocol. What does the client NT machine need? Informix Connect?
