Working with the Greek character set
Dear All,
I am running Informix Online 7.11.UC1 on HP/ux 10. And I have the following
environment:
export DBNLS=2;
export LANG=el_GR.iso88597;
export LC_ALL=el_GR.iso88597;
and I create and attempt to populate an NLS database:
dbaccess - - <<!
create database greek;
create table greek(greek nvarchar(255));
insert into greek values('' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' '
' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ''
);
!
I get a dummy spit on uppercase kappa, uppercase chi, lowercase kappa,
lowecase eta acute and lowercase iota acute.
What do I have to do to persuade this to work?
