sql help
When I run a report using the following select statement, the data from at
lest one customer id does not show up.
select in_bname, il_desc, in_date, in_sales, il_unpr from customer,
invhead, invline
where cucat="BM" and in_bid=cuid and il_num=in_num
and in_date >= "01/01/96"
order by in_bname
However, if I add to the select statement the criteria that in_bid
(invoice customer id) equals the id for the missing customer, the data for
that customer shows up on the report.
select in_bname, il_desc, in_date, in_sales, il_unpr from customer,
invhead, invline
where cucat="BM" and in_bid=cuid and il_num=in_num
and in_date >= "01/01/96" and in_bid=814
order by in_bname
I do not understand why this happens since I am adding another criteria
and not substituting.
Any suggestions will be most welcomed.
