Fix the size of the shared memory segments in your kernel so that they can be
up to 4 MB -- no larger, no smaller. Until you do that, you won't be able
to configure OnLine with more than 1 MB of shared memory, because that is the
largest contiguous chunk you can get.
It's a common problem on 386/486 platforms. It's probably a kernel rebuild.
