Problem with isolation level and ODBC

Hi all I'm an amateur programmer with Visual Basic and this is the first time I use ODBC. My problem is that when I connect to the database via Informix CLI, the sesion runs with REPEATABLE READ and I need to change that isolation level but don't know how to do it.
