Object interface for C++ question

I am getting the following error: XIX000:-111:ISAM error: no record found. I the following code (from the examples provided by Informix): ITConnection conn; conn.open(); This is on Informix 7.23.UC6 under AIX 4.2 and the xlC compiler. I am looking into this product to possible move to it from esql/c.
